The secret to renewing your mind… a relationship with God.
Just like when we are dating, we have to get to know the person before we can build trust.
God is no different. If your relationship with Him is distant or non-existant build that relationship up by spending time with Him.
Building a relationship with God sets the foundation for our minds to be renewed in Him.
The power to renew your mind allows you the freedom to think things that are good and pure.
Renew the feelings
Ladies, you have to know and feel that you are the head and not the tail (that you are worthy).
Feel unworthy? Renew my mind with reciting these faith affirmations.
These Faith affirmations are a great way to have the Bible in memory and know that God loves you.
Even when it is hard to love yourself.
God wants us to remember we are worthy of love, happiness and all that comes in between.
I know first hand, loving yourself is hard.
Write down on paper positive notes to yourself, post them and recite them daily.
Trust that God made you with tons of good qualities. You are made in His image. Ask Him to help you if you struggle.

Start spending time with God on the regular, this will help you your walk with God.

In the forgiving of yourself, you will be able to move on and love yourself.
Could a hold on to shame or resentment be holding you back from your full potential?
I was doing this.
Every time I looked in the mirror I didn’t like what I saw, too fat in some places, too wrinkly in others.
Not feeling smart enough (was a biggie)
One day I cried out to the Lord (literally cried) to help me forgive myself for not feeling like I was enough.
Something I have struggled with over the years.
Guess what… He helped me!
As I looked in the mirror, I was a bright vibrant woman made in God’s image.
smart and confident.
My ability to forgive produced room for God to dwell within me.
Who will you become once you are able to get out of your own way?
Remember who made your mind
Being made in God’s image means you are a new creation in Christ, perfect just the way you are.
The Bible tells us…
Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all one body”(Ephesians 4:22-25).
As Christians, we believe we are all one body in Christ. To follow God is to give up your old life.
Giving up your old life and starting a new one with God is hard. However, God is making you into a stronger person.
Mind renew as a mental strength
The devil wants you to feel bad about yourself, overwhelmed and confused. Our fight is not with flesh and blood, but with the spirit that we cannot see.
By only focusing on the good in your life you can overcome this downward spiral of negativity which will make for a mentally stronger you!
Renewing your mind in Christ isn’t easy because it takes you doing hard work. It takes, building a relationship with Jesus through our heavenly father. Then, renewing your feeling about yourself to align with what God says about you. Next, remember to let go of the thoughts that hold you back from living who God wants you to become. Also, the ability to forgive yourself because God has already forgiven you. these simple, yet profound truths only happen when you realize you are a child of God. Your Father is waiting for you to gain mental strength because your mind is so beautiful and powerful to Him. With that said, How will you renew your mind in Christ?
